Dr. Kathleen Waltz is an Osteopathic Physician who obtained her medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. She completed her residency at USC/California Hospital Medical Center and is board certified in Family Medicine.
Dr. Waltz has extensive Urgent Care experience having worked in the fast tract area of the Emergency Department at California Hospital Medical Center in downtown Los Angeles for 18 years. She has been the Director of that division for the past 5 years.
Dr. Waltz became the Medical Director of Ouch Urgent Care in November 2017. She was intrigued by the opportunity to join a team of diverse medical practitioners dedicated to providing integrative medical services to the community. Having trained as an Osteopathic physician she is well aware of the immense benefits of expanding the treatment options to patients beyond traditional western medicine.
Dr. Angie Sadeghi is a diplomate of both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Gastroenterology. She has extensive training from the University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Angie’s passion for being a doctor stems from her desire to help patients – not just with typical urgent care matters, but also for life. Dr. Angie has developed a comprehensive approach to help patients recover from illness and live healthy lives. In her own words, “Most people spend the latter years of life dealing with chronic disease. My mission is to bring healing and improve the quality of life for those individuals looking to stay fit and healthy.”
Andre Gallardo, Physician Assistant is part of OUCH! Urgent Care, an integrative urgent care facility on the campus of Southern California University of Health Sciences. Andre was born and raised in a small town in rural Louisiana and moved to California over 25 years ago. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and is a graduate of Stanford Medical School’s Physician Assistant Program. Andre has trained and worked in the areas of emergency medicine, urgent care, family practice and orthopedics just to name a few. He has worked at some of Southern California’s best hospitals and with some of the best doctors in the world during his 25-year healthcare career. Andre is also board certified and licensed occupational therapist with a specialty in hand and upper extremity Injuries.
In 2017, Andre decided to explore options outside of traditional western medicine in order to offer patients more options for their conditions, which eventually led to his becoming part of OUCH! Urgent Care. He is experiencing amazing success stories with his patients and would love a chance to provide you with the same opportunity.
Victor Pinedo, Nurse Practitioner, was born and raised in Los Angeles County and joined OUCH! Urgent Care in December 2018. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton and completed Cypress College’s Registered Nursing Program. He continued his educational endeavors and received his Masters of Science in Nursing from California State University, Long Beach and graduated with honors as a Family Nurse Practitioner. With over fourteen years of experience in the medical field, Victor has worked as an emergency room trauma technician, EMT, and Registered Nurse (R.N.). He has worked as a R.N in Acute Care Surgery/Trauma Surgery, Emergency, Urgent Care, Medical Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedics, Neuro ICU, Home Health, Palliative, and Occupational Health areas. He has Charge Nurse, and Nurse Supervisor experience. He also served as an associate nursing instructor for both Santa Ana College and Cypress Colleges. He has served as a preceptor to many future nurses. As a Nurse Practitioner, Victor has worked in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Orthopedics and Family Practice.
Victor, practices Urgent Care because he loves variety and positively impacting the lives of others. He strives to listen to his patients closely, practice safely and efficiently and always spends time educating his patients and their family members about their illnesses and how they can improve their health. He finds empowering his patients and giving them the tools to take care of themselves and their health a rewarding and important aspect of his position.
